Our Refunds & Returns Policy

Just like any good online retailer, we offer a 14-day returns policy in line with the Distance Selling Act. But, because we’re a teeny tiny business (not a faceless fashion giant), we really appreciate a bit of help keeping tabs on our lovely stock.

Not Sure on Your Size?

If you’re dithering between a 10 or a 12 (we’ve all been there), rather than ordering both and sending one back, drop Hil a quick WhatsApp on 07786 856886 or DM us on Instagram. We can usually guide you to the right size and save us all a bit of faff and postage.

How to Return

You’ve got 14 days from receipt to send things back. Pop your return (please use a tracked service) in the post to:
Returns Department, Wardrobe at The Cross, 25A High Street, Neston, CH64 9TZ

We don’t need the original tissue paper or packaging (you can reuse whatever packaging suits you) but the tags must still be attached and the item should be in new and unused condition. That means no perfume spritzes, no makeup marks, and definitely no outings.

The Nitty Gritty

We can’t accept returns for the following, unless faulty:

  • Face coverings
  • Beauty products and bra accessories*
  • Flowers, food gifts, wine
  • Furniture and gift cards
  • Made-to-measure or personalised items
  • Pillows, plants, toiletries
  • Single-use carrier bags
  • Swimwear
  • Any sealed item where the seal is broken
  • Non-branded toys, gifts, or luggage

*We know, a bit niche, but rules are rules.

Cost of Return

We don’t cover return postage, sorry. It’s up to you to get it back to us safe and sound.

What Happens Next?

Once your parcel’s back with us, we’ll give it a once-over. If everything’s tickety-boo, we’ll send you an email to confirm we’ve received it and let you know whether the refund’s approved.

If approved, we’ll process it ASAP and your money will land back via your original payment method. Give your bank a couple of days—it can take a moment.

Not Received Your Refund?

First, double-check your bank account. If it’s still not showing after a few days, give us a shout at hil@wardrobeatthecross.co.uk and we’ll get to the bottom of it.
